Australia’s most prestigious road cycling competition is returning to Ballarat with an electric five days of racing including criterium, road race and time trial events.

Enjoy the free Summer Sundays concert series every Sunday in January with live music, food trucks and Garden Bar in the beautiful Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

Picnic in the Park is a community event held on the January 26 public holiday. This is a free event at Victoria Park. Bring a picnic or enjoy delicious food and drink offerings from a variety of local food trucks.

On 26 January 2024, the shores of Lake Wendouree will be the venue for Ballarat’s fifth Survival Day Dawn Ceremony. While a day of mourning, it is also a day to mark the survival of ongoing traditions and cultures.
