Delivering CitySafe Taxi Rank services

The CitySafe Taxi Rank provides a safe taxi pickup location close to the entertainment precinct with two security guards, good lighting and CCTV coverage. The CitySafe Taxi rank service is funded by the City of Ballarat and supported by Victoria Police.

• Location: Corner of Sturt and Lydiard Streets
• Operating Hours: Saturday and Sunday mornings from 1am – 5am 
  It is also in operation on some public holidays and for some local events.

Saturday 6 December (SPILT MILK)
Operating Hours: 12.30am – 4am

Friday 19 December
Operating Hours: 11pm – 4am 

Saturday 20 December
Operating Hours: 11pm – 4am

Wednesday 24 December (Christmas Eve)
Operating Hours: 11pm – 4am 

Friday 26 December (Boxing Day)
Operating Hours: 11pm – 4am

Saturday 27 December
Operating Hours: 11pm – 4am 

Wednesday 31 December (New Years Eve)
Operating Hours: 11pm – 4am

All other Operating Hours outside of the above for December will remain ‘as usual’: Saturday and Sunday mornings from 1am – 5am
