Ballarat Sports Events Centre

The Ballarat Sports Events Centre is one of the largest sporting facilities in the region.

This $24m project was  jointly funded by the federal government ($10m) state government ($9m) and the City of Ballarat ($5m).

The  new indoor arena, which features a striking modern design, forms part of the Eureka Sports Precinct. 

The upgrades have significantly changed the indoor sporting experience in Ballarat, particularly through the inclusion of a new 3000-seat show court and additional courts capable of hosting a range of events including netball, basketball, volleyball and badminton.

New amenities and facilities – including female-friendly changerooms and an adult changing facility – ensure the new Sports and Events Centre is home to the region’s elite sporting teams, as well as many community teams.
