About NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. You can support and get to know your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held locally, online and across the country.

We come from different backgrounds and cultures, but as a community we share a culture of growing and learning together in the same schools, businesses, workplaces, recreation spaces and services. Ballarat, as an Intercultural City, builds on the concept of all of us living together in a vibrant, diverse and harmonious community.
