Planning your day
You can expect a busy, often noisy environment at Expo events. However, we have introduced a number of new measures this year to reduce noise and congestion:
- The information stalls are spread across two areas this year, providing larger walkways.
- There will be more seating available throughout the venue to take a rest, and
- The presentations will be in the Conservatory, a separate room in the main Mercure Hotel building, for greater listening comfort.
Tea, coffee and water will be freely available throughout the day.
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyards (Green)
Wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower pin or lanyard is a discreet way to show you have a non-visible disability or condition and may need extra support or time.
Free green Sunflower lanyards will be available at the Expo to wear and take home.
If you’re wearing a Sunflower pin or lanyard, Expo staff and stallholders may ask how they can help. You (or a friend or carer) can also use it to let people know what support you need.
