Delegation from the Municipal Building Surveyor
S12 Instrument of Delegation and Authorisation by the Municipal Building Surveyor allows the MBS to delegate their duty, function or power.

Authorisations
S11A Instruments of Appointments and Authorisations for the Planning and Environment Act 1987 authorises officers under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and section 313 of the Local Government Act 2020 allows the officer to institute proceeding for offences against the Act.
S15 Instrument of Appointment and Authorisation of Council’s FOI Officer appoints the officers to be Freedom of Information Officers for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982.
S11B Instruments of Appointment and Authorisation, authorise officers under section 242(2) of the Environment Protection Act 2017.
