Ballarat’s COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic is located at the Mercure Hotel and Conference Centre, 613 Main Road Golden Point, with bookings and/or walk-ins available seven days a week. Bookings for the can be made by calling the Victorian Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.

Expressions of Interest sought for Council’s Disability Advisory Committee

City of Ballarat is seeking expressions of interest for 2–3 vacancies on the Disability Advisory Committee.

The purpose of the Committee is to advise Council of the issues people with disabilities face in relation to Council’s programs, services and infrastructure.

The Disability Advisory Committee consists of a broad selection of local community members and some service providers who have knowledge of disability and who advocate for people with disabilities.

The Disability Advisory Committee meets for approximately 1.5 hours every two months.

Please express your interest by writing a short letter about your personal experience and/ or professional expertise that is relevant to this Committee. Representatives from local services are encouraged to also include a copy of their current curriculum vitae.

Expressions of interest close 5pm, Friday 11 June.
