Works on council land

If you are placing things like structures, plant and equipment, or building supplies on the road reserve as part of construction works, you may require a permit. This also applies to building permit applications requiring report and consent from the City of Ballarat under the Building Regulation 116 - Protection of the Public Make and application for hoarding on Council land

The CitySafe Taxi Rank provides a safe taxi pickup location close to the entertainment precinct with two security guards, good lighting and CCTV coverage. The CitySafe Taxi rank service is funded by the City of Ballarat and supported by Victoria Police.Location: Corner of Sturt and Lydiard Streets Operating Hours: Saturday and Sunday mornings from 1am – 5am It is also in operation on some public holidays and for some local events.
