Ballarat Planning Scheme and Amendments
Planning schemes are made up of maps and ordinance. The ordinance are the policies and written clauses and the maps depict where the zones and overlays apply within the planning scheme area. We administer and implement the Ballarat Planning Scheme in accordance with section 6 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

For more information about the schedule of funded childhood vaccines in Victoria, please read the Department of Health and Human Services' immunisation schedule and vaccine eligibility criteria. Our qualified immunisation nurses provide scheduled, funded vaccinations for children following the National Immunisation Program.

I need to make a payment plan
In a bid to ensure your rates payments are as simple as possible, this year you are again able to access a monthly instalment option.  This is available via direct debit on the 15th of each month from September to June. Over half of Ballarat's street trees are deciduous, which means they drop their leaves every year. The collection of leaves a is a big task during autumn and winter. Our staff collect leaf litter on a street by street basis as well as responding to individual enquires.
