Retail Expert to share Insights in Ballarat
Today’s changing COVID environment is presenting challenges and difficulties for many traditional businesses.
Ballarat business operators will have the opportunity to learn how to convert those challenges into opportunities during a free event ‘ Retailing 2021’ sponsored by the City of Ballarat’s Economic Development Unit.
Presenter, Martin Ginnane was the first Retail Industry Specialist for the Victorian Government and has held roles including Deputy Managing Director of Downtown Duty Free. He has also been involved in major events including Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival and Melbourne’s Spring Fashion Week.
His Retailing 2021 presentations will focus on key subjects including global trends and directions, whether COVID 19 has been a negative or a positive , the rise of digital – the changing retail landscape and how to stand out from a crowd.
Ballarat Mayor Cr Daniel Moloney says more than ever, businesses need encouragement and reassurance that they can adapt their business through these frustrating times.
Two sessions will be available on Tuesday June 22 at 6pm and Wednesday 23 June at 8.30am
