City of Ballarat Capital Works program 2021/22 projects currently underway 

• Wendouree Parade 
  Between Forest Street and Nursery Drive road closed from 6am Tuesday 22 until Friday 25 February.  
  Asphalt patching and resurfacing works to upgrade 5200sqm of Wendouree Parade. 
  Shared path open. Sealed bicycle lane closed. Traffic management arrangements in place.  
  Entrance to the Botanical Gardens, Pipers by the Lake, Lake Wendouree playground and public toilets remain accessible. 

• Eastwood Street (Coles/Woolworths car park)  
  Rehabilitation of car park including entrance to Little Bridge Street, new trees and surrounds, asphalting, and line marking. 

• Warrenheip Street and Learmonth Street, Buninyong 
  Streetscape project tender award to Enoch Civil. 

• Nolan Street traffic signals - Ballarat Central 
  Traffic signal tender awarded to Enoch Civil. 

• Lydiard Street to Macarthur Street shared bike path construction via Doveton Street   
  Construction awarded to Ballarat Excavation and Transport. 

• Cuthberts Road between Whites Road to Finchs Road, Cardigan 
  Full road reconstruction. Awarded to Fulton Hogan. 

• Cuthberts Road between Hillcrest Road to Smarts Hill Road, Bo Peep 
  Full road reconstruction. Awarded to Fulton Hogan. 

• Macarthur Street shared path - south side of Macarthur Street from Creswick Road to Little Clyde Street 
  Awarded to Ballarat Excavation and Transport. 

• Wendouree Parade Tram Track 
  Finalising design for remaining 1.2 km of tram track upgrade. Tender advertised. 

• Sturt Street multi stream funded project including Federal Black Spot, RRV Ballarat Connections and City of Ballarat funding 
  Section between Dawson Street and Grenville Street including cycle path. Full streetscape rehabilitation project including street trees and new asphalt overlay. Awarded to Fulton Hogan.
