TOWN HALL LIBRARY  

  

Ballarat Library at Town Hall is closed ahead of the reopening of the Ballarat Library at Doveton Street in April.  

 

The Sebastopol and Wendouree Libraries, along with the regular Library Outreach programs, will continue as normal during this time.

MAKING YOUR VOICE MATTER
 

This year we would like to see as many of the Ballarat residents, businesses and students take part in in consultations and workshops as possible. 

  

The City of Ballarat is seeking all residents who want to up-the-ante and be part of a community who are invested in working alongside us to improve our programs and projects to continually better meet the needs and vision of our city and surrounds. 

 

Visit mysay.ballarat.vic.gov.au to tell the engagement team how you would like to interact with the City of Ballarat before 1 April 2024.  

 

PET REGISTRATIONS
 

Pet registrations are due 10 April 2024, visit the City of Ballarat’s website to pay online. If you have any questions, please call 5320 5500.  

You can complete your pet’s registration with the City of Ballarat online, via the eServices portal, in person at the Customer Service Centre, The Phoenix, 25 Armstrong St South Ballarat Central between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.   

Renewals can be paid via BPAY, eServices or in person with options included on the renewal form sent annually. 

 

HARMONY BY THE LAKE
 

This Sunday, 24 March 2024, as part of Harmony Fest a free community picnic, with music, dance, and activities for families and everyone will be held at View Point, Lake Wendouree, note this is a new location from 2023’s event.

It will be held from 12pm – 3.30pm, bring your own chairs, picnic blankets and enjoy the day.

There will be food trucks available to purchase your lunch own cost. Don’t miss FAABI’s “Pista Sa Nayon” activities and dances. This is an alcohol-free event.  

 

CONDOLENCE BOOK
 

Books will be available at Ballarat Town Hall and Eureka Centre for the community to sign and send a message to Samantha Murphy’s family.

 

NOTICE OF BOATING ACTIVITY EXCLUSION ZONE  

 

City of Ballarat as the declared waterway manager for Lake Wendouree hereby gives notice under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic) that all persons and vessels not registered to take part in the Lake Wendouree Two Fly Fishing Competition are prohibited from entering and remaining in the following waters. 

  

Waters of Lake Wendouree – Entire Lake. 

  

The exclusion zone will be in effect from 6:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday 23 March 2024 and on Sunday 24 March 2024.
