Help for those feeling isolated

If you’re feeling alone or isolated during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is help at hand from the City of Ballarat.
The Victorian Government has established the COVID-19 community activation and social isolation initiative (CASI) to help people maintain important connections with family, friends and community and to build new social connections and networks of support in their local communities.
The CASI initiative benefits anyone in the community who needs practical, emotional or social support during COVID-19 and particularly those who have minimal social connections and informal supports.
The City of Ballarat has a Community Connector via the CASI initiative who can help organise supports available in your local area.
To get in touch with the City of Ballarat Community Connector, call the coronavirus hotline on 1800 675 398 and press 3 to speak to an Australian Red Cross volunteer, who will put you in touch with your local Community Connector.
