Statement regarding Soldiers Hill roadworks consultation
The following statement has been sent to media following the latest COVID-19 restrictions.
Statement from City of Ballarat CEO, Evan King
"In light of the circuit breaker lockdown until 11.59pm Thursday 3 June, we have made the decision to postpone the proposed Soldiers Hill roadworks community consultation session to a later date.
Given the concerns and the issues raised we believe an online session would not be adequate to facilitate the consultation. We will await the details around the easing of the restrictions and direction from the State Government and will reschedule the session for as soon as possible.
In the meantime, the project has been paused with no works to commence pending the outcome of our discussions with the community."
