Quick Tasks

The City of Ballarat has different prices for residents and non-residents.

Proof of residency, for example driver’s licence or rates notice, will be required to access resident rates.

As the Transfer Station is funded by waste fees charged to residents, it is designed primarily for residents' use, not for the use of businesses. We encourage businesses to access alternate services for their specific waste streams.

The City of Ballarat updated the below prices as of 1 July 2026.
