The Community Impact Grant Program (CIGP) 2012/2013 is now open for applications all year round.

Applications will be accepted at anytime throughout the year making the process more efficient for community groups.

The CIGP links to the Council Plan and the Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan. Referring to these plans will assist with addressing the categories of the CIGP.

Key Dates and information:

A grant writing workshop is being held on 6 May, 5.00pm - 7.00pm in The Trench Room, Town Hall, Sturt Street, Ballarat.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Community Impact Grant Program, and how to write a grant application you are welcome to come along.

The Community Impact Committee (CIC) meet every month to assess applications the the CIGP.

Applications to the CIGP must be lodged one week prior to the meeting dates, please refer to the table below:

Please note the following:

  • Complete applications ONLY will be assessed by the CIC
  • Please refer to, and use the checklist included with the CIGP Application Form
  • Successful applications will be required to sign an Agreement to Fund and provide the necessary supporting documents, payment will be processed once this information is supplied
