What is disc golf?
Disc golf is similar to traditional golf. Instead of hitting a ball with a club, players throw a disc from the tee pad to a basket.
The aim of the game is to complete each hole in the fewest throws possible.
Where can you play disc golf in Ballarat?
You can play disk golf at Victoria Park in Ballarat.
An 18-hole course has been set up in Victoria Park.
The start of the course is at Plane Avenue and Cedar Drive, and along Elm Avenue.
To find the next hole, check the base of each basket for an arrow to show you the direction of the next tee.
How do you play disc golf?
With your disc, start at the tee pad. The tee sign has information about the hole, including the hole number, par, distance, and a map of the fairway. Use a driving throw to get started and a putting throw when you get close to the basket.
