Victorian Energy Compare $100 Power Saving Bonus
The Power Saving Bonus program provides a payment of $100 for eligible Victorian concession card households to ease cost-of-living pressures and encourages Victorians to compare their household energy prices and save money. This is a Victorian State Government initiative. Only one payment per household is available.
To be eligible, households will need to have a recent residential electricity bill, identification in the form of a driver’s license or Medicare card and hold one of the following concession cards: Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, or Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card. If your application is approved, you will receive $100.
Applications can be submitted on the Victorian Energy Compare website, over the phone (1800 000 832), or through a participating community organisation (such as a local neighbourhood house).
Construction of Roundabout at Greenhalghs and Finchs Road
The intersection of Greenhalghs Road and Finchs Road in Bunkers Hill will be completely closed to all traffic until 26 January.
Previously, traffic has been able to pass through the intersection, with works already underway to build a new roundabout as part of the Federal Government’s Black Spot Program.
During the period up until 26 January, the intersection will be closed in all directions as the project advances. Please plan ahead and use alternative routes.
