Online surveys are currently open for individuals or businesses and organisations to complete. In person pop-up sessions are also scheduled at the following times for the community to meet with DTP representatives and ask questions:
Tuesday 25 November
- Ballarat Train Station, 2pm – 4pm
Visit the Engage Victoria website to review Ballarat's existing bus network, complete a survey, and full details on the pop-up sessions. Consultation closes Sunday, 7 December.

Continuous Voices Memorial construction tender
The City of Ballarat has opened the construction tender of the Continuous Voices Memorial, marking a major milestone after nine years of advocacy and planning. The memorial will be located near Plane Avenue in Victoria Park and will honour survivors and victims of sexual abuse.
Designed by Amass Architects, the memorial will feature interwoven curves symbolising individual healing journeys and include survivor-informed artwork. Words from survivors will be etched into the structure, ensuring their voices are heard for generations to come.
The $1.5 million project is supported by the Victorian and Federal Governments and the City of Ballarat. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, creating a lasting space for truth, courage, and resilience.
Pet of the week: Miley
Meet Miley, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a gentle nature who's sure to warm everyone's hearts in no time. If you're looking for a gentle companion to share your life with, Miley could be the perfect addition to your family. With patience and understanding, you'll discover the loving and devoted friend she's meant to be.
While Miley can experience separation anxiety, she will feel more at ease with a consistent routine and the presence of her human family. She would benefit from a family dedicated to building her confidence and providing her with the time and companionship she needs.
Miley is best suited to a home with secure 6-foot fence, where she can enjoy her time outside safely. She would thrive best as the only dog in a loving household, or she could live with a dog that is quiet and could co-exist well.
