With just two Sundays remaining, the City of Ballarat is encouraging locals and visitors to make the most of the much-loved Summer Sundays concert series, continuing in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens until the end of January.

Thousands of people have already enjoyed the relaxed summer afternoons, featuring live music, food trucks, and Garden Bar, with around 6,000 people attending so far across the first two Sundays.

The free concerts run every Sunday from 3pm-7pm, offering a perfect summer setting to unwind with friends and family while enjoying performances from a diverse line-up of artists, including many local musicians.

Visitors are also reminded to take part in the onsite Summer Sundays survey, which will help shape the future of the event and offers the chance to win an unforgettable Ballarat weekend valued at $2,500.

So far, 300 surveys have been completed, providing valuable feedback to help the City of Ballarat continue to enhance the event for future years.

The short, 10-question survey takes around five minutes to complete and is available exclusively onsite via QR codes displayed throughout the event grounds each Sunday.

All completed surveys with contact details will go into the draw with one winner randomly selected, who can choose between two curated prize packs tailored for adults or families. Both prize packs feature local accommodation, dining, and attractions.

City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Tracey Hargreaves said Summer Sundays continues to be one of the city’s most popular free summer events.

“Summer Sundays is all about relaxed afternoons, great music, and enjoying one of Ballarat’s most beautiful spaces,” she said.

“It’s been a great turn out so far. If you’ve been meaning to come along, these final two concerts are your last chance to enjoy Summer Sundays this year.

“While you’re there, be sure to have your say on your experience by taking the onsite survey. The prize draw is a great incentive and features the very best of Ballarat, but more importantly, this gives our community a real opportunity to influence how the event continues to grow.”

Survey entries close at 8pm on Sunday 25 January after the last event, with the winner to be drawn and announced later that week.
