Let’s Chat Councillor Roadshow will continue local conversations across Ballarat
Mayor, Cr Tracey Hargreaves at the Let's Chat Ballarat Community Expo
More than 600 attendees walked through the doors of Civic Hall for the Let’s Chat Ballarat Community Expo on March 26 and 27.
Residents, Councillors and council staff connected across the two-day event to discuss local priorities and share ideas for Ballarat's future. The event featured City of Ballarat department stalls, free kids' activities and opportunities for residents to have valuable one‑on‑one conversations with their ward Councillor.
City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Tracey Hargreaves said the strong turnout highlights the importance of ongoing conversations with the community.
“Council is grateful to everyone who came to speak with us at the Let’s Chat expo. Your feedback plays a key role in shaping our work, and the event was a fantastic opportunity to connect directly with residents,” she said.
Building on the momentum of the expo, the Let’s Chat Ballarat Councillor Roadshow will begin in April and continue throughout the remainder of 2026.
The roadshow will give residents another in‑person opportunity to raise local matters and ideas with their ward Councillor to help shape community priorities.
“Council is committed to meaningful and ongoing engagement,” Cr Hargreaves said.
“The Councillor Roadshow will help us continue important discussions right across Ballarat, including with residents who may not have been able to attend the recent expo.”
The Let’s Chat Ballarat Councillor Roadshow schedule is available on the City of Ballarat website.
