Attendees at this year’s Summer Sundays concert series will have the chance to shape the future of the event and go into the draw to win an unforgettable Ballarat experience worth $2,500.
For the first time, visitors can complete a short survey during any of the Summer Sundays events, providing valuable feedback to help the City of Ballarat continue improving the experience for the community.
Survey access will be exclusively onsite, with QR codes positioned across multiple locations around the event grounds each Sunday in January.
The survey can be completed on any event day from 3pm-7pm, and all participants who complete the full survey and provide their contact details will be entered into the prize draw.
Entries will close at 8pm on Sunday 25 January, and one winner will be randomly selected by the City of Ballarat on Thursday 29 January. The winner will be notified by phone, email and announced on the Summer Sundays website by Friday 30 January.
The winner will choose one prize pack only from two options: one designed for adults, and one designed for families, both featuring local accommodation, dining, and attractions.
The survey is 10 questions and will take approximately five minutes to complete. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Tracey Hargreaves said this new survey gives visitors a real opportunity to help influence how the event evolves in the future.
“We’re committed to delivering events that reflect what our community values most, and the insights gathered through this survey will help us continue to grow and refine the Summer Sundays experience,” she said.
“I encourage everyone attending to take a few minutes to complete the survey, and of course, go in the draw to win a fantastic prize showcasing some of Ballarat’s best accommodation, food, and attractions.”
Summer Sundays is Ballarat’s much-loved free concert series held in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens every Sunday in January from 3pm-7pm.
The program features an exciting line-up of artists, with half being local performers.
In addition, a variety of food trucks will be on offer each Sunday and a fully licensed Garden Bar serving up refreshing local beer, wine, and spirits.
Summer Sundays is the only live music event held in the Botanical Gardens and attracts thousands of visitors each week.
