Forgo hibernation – it’s time to celebrate the chilly season in Ballarat.

After a hiatus in 2020, the popular ice skating rink will return this year as part of the Ballarat Winter Festival.

Excitement is building in the CBD as the city begins its transformation into a winter wonderland with the return of the much-loved ice-skating rink from Saturday 26 June–Sunday 18 July.

Post skate, make sure you explore Ballarat and feast by the fireplaces of our quality culinary establishments.

You can also warm up with Knights of Fire and Snow Queen Neva at Kryal Castle, meet the animals at the Ballarat Wildlife Park and be amazed at Sovereign Hill’s Winter Wonderlights.
