Helpful tips
By doing the following things you could prevent your property or possessions being stolen or damaged.
- Don't leave valuables in your vehicle, especially wallets, ID, laptops or phones. Always put bags or shopping in the boot, even if you are only parking for a short time and NEVER leave car keys in your vehicle.
- Lock your car – even in the garage!
- Ensure your home is securely locked – Set a reminder every night to check all doors and windows are locked, shed doors are down/locked and all valuables (handbags, wallets, keys etc) are not left anywhere visible from outside the property.
*Tip buy a RFID key pouch to protect car keys from electronic scanning - Keep trees and shrubs trimmed - so you have clear sight to the street from inside your property and make sure you have good lighting if going to and from the house at night. Exterior sensor lights are a great way to prevent unwanted people from accessing your property at night!
