Ballarat Community Safety Alliance

The Ballarat Community Safety Alliance is made up of organisations and individuals with a shared vision for Ballarat to be a safe, inclusive and respectful community, where individuals living, working and visiting Ballarat and surrounds actively participate in the community without fear or risk of harm.

The purpose of the Ballarat Community Safety Alliance is to:

• Foster collaboration amongst local organisations and drive strategic action to improve community safety within Ballarat
• Embed formal linkages between the alliance and other relevant groups
• Establish working groups to lead and drive identified priority areas as needed
• Increase shared-responsibility and shared-accountability
• Enable engagement and minimise barriers to participation

The Alliance meets quarterly and is administered by the City of Ballarat.
