CALD Kindergarten Outreach Program
On this page
The CALD Outreach Support Program is a free service to support culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) children and families in kindergarten and Pre-Prep who live, work, play or study in City of Ballarat.
The program offers support to help children and families access essential services, including:
- Kinder registration and enrolment: Assisting families with the registration and enrolment in three-year-old kindergarten, four-year-old kindergarten, and Pre-Prep.
- Kindergarten attendance: Collaborating with kindergarten teachers and educators to support families who may face barriers to regularly attending kindergarten.
- Engagement with local early years services: Facilitating access to support services in City of Ballarat such as Maternal and Child Health (MCH), playgroups, immunisations, library programs and other early childhood services.
- Support with transition from kindergarten to school: Collaborating with kindergartens, families, and schools to ensure a smooth transition for children starting school.
Connect with the CALD Outreach Officer. If you, or someone you know could benefit from this service, we’re here to help.
