Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK)

A Master Locksmith Access Key provides 24/7 access to accessible public facilities for people with a disability.

People who have a Victorian Companion Card may be eligible for a free MLAK, the online process to apply for a MLAK is managed by Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia.

Apply online: Fill out the Master Locksmith Access Key application - To confirm your eligibility.
Apply in person: Go to Rodd Locksmiths Ballarat, 13 Armstrong Street North - can provide MLAKs to individuals who qualify for them.

The Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK) system is a Master Locksmiths initiative that allows people with disability access to dedicated public facilities. This includes facilities in National Parks and many Council municipalities, elevators at railway stations, Changing Places  disabled toilets that are locked, and even the Liberty Swing.
