Rooms available for hire
Spaces available for hire include:
- Art room - Capacity: 20 seated
- Meeting room 1 - Capacity: 40 seated
- Meeting room 2 - Capacity: 30 seated
- Meeting room 1 + 2 - Capacity: 70 seated
- Community room/hall - Capacity: 150 seated
These spaces have access to AV functionality, fully equipped kitchen, concierge/reception at the entrance, public wifi and outdoor garden terrace.

Book a room at the Hub
The City of Ballarat Community Hubs uses the online booking management system, SpacetoCo.
Learn how to use SpacetoCo
How to book a room using SpacetoCo:
- Go to Book a room at the Hub on this page to start a booking on SpacetoCo
- Browse the page to find your preferred booking time
- When you find your preferred room, select Add to cart
- Then select make bookings, or select the cart icon in the top right corner to finalise your booking.
- Please fill in all required information, then select Submit.
- Once submitted a Community Hub staff member will review and approve your booking.
Would you like more help navigating the room bookings through SpacetoCo?
Visit any City of Ballarat Community Hub Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm, and a staff member will be able to assist you.
Can’t make it in person, SpacetoCo has a library of online guides to help you navigate the site.
Vickers Street Kindergarten
Vickers Street Community Hub has a two-room kindergarten facility. For enquiries please call 5320 5720. For further information including registrations, please go to our Kindergartens page

- Two designated accessible car parks at the front of the building
- Two additional accessible car parks are located on the west side of the building

- Floor coverings are a mixture of low pile commercial carpet and commercial vinyl flooring
- Building lighting is modern round fluorescent lighting and natural lighting
- Hearing loop is fitted
- Accessible multimedia equipment is available
- Communication board is available
- Recharge point for motorised mobility aids and electric wheelchairs is available
- Social story is available
- Seating with armrests is available for people with mobility issues
- Assistance animals are welcome
