Rooms available for hire

Spaces available for hire include:

  • Art room - Capacity: 20 seated
  • Meeting room 1 - Capacity: 40 seated
  • Meeting room 2 - Capacity: 30 seated
  • Meeting room 1 + 2 - Capacity: 70 seated
  • Community room/hall - Capacity: 150 seated

These spaces have access to AV functionality, fully equipped kitchen, concierge/reception at the entrance, public wifi and outdoor garden terrace.

The City of Ballarat Community Hubs uses the online booking management system, SpacetoCo.

How to book a room using SpacetoCo:

  1. Go to Book a room at the Hub on this page to start a booking on SpacetoCo  
  2. Browse the page to find your preferred booking time  
  3. When you find your preferred room, select Add to cart
  4. Then select make bookings, or select the cart icon in the top right corner to finalise your booking.  
  5. Please fill in all required information, then select Submit.  
  6. Once submitted a Community Hub staff member will review and approve your booking.

Visit any City of Ballarat Community Hub Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm, and a staff member will be able to assist you.

Vickers Street Kindergarten

  • Building lighting is modern round fluorescent lighting and natural lighting
  • Hearing loop is fitted
  • Accessible multimedia equipment is available
  • Communication board is available
  • Recharge point for motorised mobility aids and electric wheelchairs is available
  • Social story is available
  • Seating with armrests is available for people with mobility issues
  • Assistance animals are welcome

  • Accessible toilet with left-hand transfer and shower, with commercial vinyl floor covering
