An opportunity has become available for a customer focused team-orientated individual to join Council’s Finance Division as an Accounts Receivable Officer. 

 

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will perform all duties relating to accounts receivable functions for the City of Ballarat and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.   

 

This position would suit an organised and flexible individual who has a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.  Naturally you possess well developed communication skills with proven experience in providing excellent customer service.  Working with limited supervision you have an eye for detail whilst being able to meet deadlines.  Previous experience and knowledge of Accounts Receivable functions and processes is essential. 

 

To be considered for this role you must address the key selection criteria: 

  • Previous experience and knowledge of Accounts Receivable functions and processes. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and techniques. 

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills. 

  • Well-developed organisational skills 

  • Ability to work in a team environment. 

  • Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of relevant information technology systems in relation to accounts receivable processing as well as spreadsheet and word processing software.
