Council Community Satisfaction Survey

On this page
Each year, the City of Ballarat participates in the Victorian Local Government Council Community Satisfaction Survey, an independent, state-wide survey coordinated by the Department of Government Services. The survey gathers feedback from residents on how well Council is performing across a range of service areas and responsibilities.
The survey provides insights into community satisfaction of:
- Overall performance
- Value for money
- Overall council direction
- Customer service
- Waste management
- Lobbying
- Consultation and engagement
- Community decisions
- Sealed local roads
These areas are benchmarked against state-wide and regional centre averages, helping Council understand how it compares to similar councils across Victoria.
