Highlights
Ballarat Transfer Station
Council operates a transfer station located in Gillies Street South (opposite Victoria Park) for the receipt of community and industry waste and unwanted household materials and greenwaste.
The Gillies Street Transfer Station is open Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm and weekends and public holidays from 10am to 4pm. (The facility is closed Christmas Day, New Years Day, Anzac Day and Good Friday).

Free Autumn Leaf Collection
Council provides a free leaf collection service on a street by street basis as well as responding to individual enquiries.
