Litter Bins In Ballarat

Ballarat's heritage is part of the rich tapestry of who we are as a community and connect us with our past.

Did you know that batteries can be harmful to the environment if they are thrown in the bin?

They leach out heavy metals including mercury which  are damaging to both plants and animals. The good news is that batteries are recyclable! You can drop off your old batteries at the Gillies Street Transfer Station, the City of Ballarat Customer Service at 25 Armstrong Street, or any Aldi supermarket.
