Project: Mount Clear Recreation Reserve upgrade project

Location: Mount Clear Recreation Reserve, Mount Clear 

Project status: Lighting upgrade complete. Pavilion worksunderway and expected to be complete by mid-December 2016.

Project cost: $655,000 project. $550,000 from the City of Ballarat and $100,000 from Sport and Recreation Victoria to go towards the change room development, as part of the Community Facility Funding Program (CFFP) Minor Grants Category. 

Project will deliver:

$445,000 Pavilion extension (including $100,000 from Sport and Recreation Victoria)

  • Including construction of new AFL compliant change room and amenities, umpires change rooms, publicly accessible toilet and storage facilities for reserve tenant. Please note project does not include refurbishment of existing change rooms.

$210,000 Oval lighting upgrade – COMPLETE

  • Construction of new 100lux AFL compliant training lights for the number 1 oval

  • Ballarat Football Netball League
  • Ballarat Cricket Association
