Location: Victory Park, Vickers Street, Sebastopol
Project status: COMPLETE
Project cost: $550,000
A new outdoor water play facility is ready for play at Victory Park in Vickers Street, Sebastopol.
The $550,000 outdoor water play facility was completed in time for the 2015/16 summer season.
Fully funded by the City of Ballarat the water play facility is designed for all age groups. It features an exciting variety of spray features, including tipping buckets, towering spray features, soaking run-through water tunnel and a four way water cannon fight.
The splash pad also has a safe, quieter play zone for smaller children to explore aquatic play safety away from the bigger splashes and faster moving fun.
During the cooler months the space is converted into an informal sports court.
Use of the facility is FREE.
Landscaping and path works were also included as part of the project.
