The City of Ballarat has prepared an amendment to the Ballarat Planning Scheme.
The amendment will affect part of the land located at 10 Creswick Street, Miners Rest, also known as part Allotment 15, Section B, Township of Miners Rest. The amendment proposes to apply Heritage Overlay - Schedule 193 (HO193) to part of the site which encompasses the former St. James’ Presbyterian (Uniting) Church.
What has happened?
The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C156 to the Ballarat Planning Scheme.
The Amendment applies the Heritage Overlay (HO195) to the former St James Presbyterian Church at 10 Creswick Street, Miners Rest.
A copy of the Amendment can be inspected, free of charge, at the Department of Planning and Community Development website at www.dpcd.vic.gov.au/planning/publicinspection and free of charge, during office hours, at the offices of the Ballarat City Council, Town Hall, 225 Sturt Street, Ballarat.
