POST-NATAL DEPRESSION
The Family Wellbeing Program is a free confidential Maternal and Child Health Service available to families in the Ballarat area. The clinic specialises in support for families affected by:
- antenatal or postnatal depression
- substance abuse
- domestic violence
- anxiety disorders
- traumatic birth experience
Women can self-refer, or be referred by maternal and child health nurses, or by other health professionals. Groups are also conducted for women with postnatal depression by a maternal and child health nurse and a family therapist.
