If members of the public experience storm or flooding threatening or damaging their property, they should call the VICSES flood and storm response emergency number on:

VICSES will use emergency alert messages if required and we urge all Victorians in the affected areas to listen closely to the Emergency Broadcasters.

In the event of flooding people need to:

• Be prepared to relocate if necessary
• Be prepared to protect your belongings, including securing outdoor items and other objects that may float, be blown away or cause damage
• Monitor the situation closely through Emergency Broadcasters
• Farmers should move machinery and livestock to known higher ground
• Never walk, ride or drive through flood waters
