Multicultural Ambassador Program

The City of Ballarat launched its Multicultural Ambassador Program in November 2009 with the objective of enhancing community awareness and to foster social acceptance of migrants in Ballarat.

The Multicultural Ambassador Program was developed to provide leadership within the migrant community and to recognise the commitment and contribution made by migrants in Ballarat.

Multicultural Ambassadors are appointed for a two year term and undertake community engagement activities.
