EXTENSIONS OF TIME

Once a permit has been issued it is valid for two years unless otherwise specified in the permit. Before the permit expires, or within three months after the permit has expired, you can request an extension of time. Reason should be given as to why the permit should be extended and how many years you are proposing the permit to be extended to. Generally, extensions are given in 12 monthly increments or at the Planning officer's discretion.
