The Awards are provided by the Australia Day Committee (Victoria) and are administered by Local Government Authorities throughout Australia on behalf of the Council.
There are 3 categories to nominate in for the awards :
CITY OF BALLARAT COMMUNITY ACTIVITY OF THE YEAR - Presented to the person/group who has staged the most outstanding community activity between the period 30 October 2011 – 29 October 2012. Download Nomination Form (PDF)

Citizenship Ceremonies
Citizenship ceremonies are administered by the City of Ballarat on behalf of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). Ceremonies are held monthly and are open to members of the public. Learn more about Citizenship
Community Safety Awards
The City of Ballarat is seeking nominations for the Community Safety Awards. The Awards are part of ‘Community Safety Month’ and aim to publicly acknowledge the great work and initiatives of individuals, groups and organisations that have made a significant contribution to safety in the City of Ballarat.
