Notice of Intention to Lease - Wendouree Sports & Events Centre
The City of Ballarat hereby gives notice under Section 190 of theLocal GovernmentAct 1989(“the Act”) of its intention to consider leasing land at the Wendouree Sports and Event Centre precinct at 989 Norman Street Wendouree. An aerial of the site can be found on Councils website.
Written submissions relating to proposed lease will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act and must be received by the Property Department, City of Ballarat, PO Box 655, Ballarat, Vic. 3350, within 28 days of this notice.
Any person requesting to be heard in support of their written submission is entitled to appear in person or by a person acting on their behalf before a Committee of Council, the day, time and place of which will be advised.

Mayor and Councillor Allowance
In accordance with Sections 223 and 73A(4) of the Local Government Act 1989, the City of Ballarat is advising of its consideration to adopt the Mayoral Allowance of $94,641 per annum and Councillor Allowance of $29,630 per annum. Any person may make a written submission to Council in relation to its consideration of the Mayoral and Councillor Allowance. Written submissions received before 9am Tuesday 14 March, 2017 will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act.
