Applying for a Position

It is important to understand the requirements of the position and how the City of Ballarat undertakes recruitment and selection.

You must have the legal right to work in Australia in order to be considered for our vacancies.

We receive a large number of applications which are assessed based on who best meets the key selection criteria.  There may be times where candidates do meet the criteria but are not invited for an interview, as there were others with a better fit for the position.

Please note that the recruitment and selection process can take several weeks.  You will be contacted if you are successful in gaining an interview.  If you have not been contacted within four weeks of the application closing date, you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
