Councillor Mark Harris was officially sworn in as City of Ballarat Mayor at a Statutory Meeting of Ballarat City Council on 5 December 2011.
Cr Mark Harris was the sole candidate for the position and was elected to the position unanimously.
Cr Ben Taylor was elected as Deputy Mayor
