COUNCIL ELECTIONS AND VOTERS ROLL
Ballarat City Council Elections
Details of Ballarat City Council's previous Council Elections can be found at the Victorian Electoral Commissions website.
Voter's Roll
A person or organisation can seek a copy of Council's voters roll for public interest purposes under section 24C(5)(d) of the Local Government Act 1989. Permission must first be obtained by the City of Ballarat's Chief Executive Officer before being sent to the Victorian Privacy Commissioner for approval.
Before Council send the application to the Victorian Privacy Commissioner, they must first ensure that applicants provide required information for the Privacy Commissioner to easily process applications. Therefore Council require each applicant to complete a Request Copy of Voters Roll Form (PDF - 62KB) to seek access to Council's Voters Roll for public interest purposes.
