Council seeks Ballarat residents to provide input into the future development of arts and culture in the city.

If you are involved in the arts in any capacity, whether it be as a practitioner or as part of the audience, Council wants your feedback.

This survey aims to assist in the creation of a profile of arts participants in Ballarat and measure the levels of engagement with local artists and arts appreciators in our city.

City of Ballarat Portfolio Councillor for Destination and Connections Cheryl Bromfield encouraged residents to take this valuable opportunity to share their thoughts on arts in Ballarat.

“The Arts Survey 2011 will present Council with essential information to assess the state of the arts in Ballarat and provide input into strategic planning to develop a thriving arts sector in our city.

“It will gauge community attitudes towards the arts in Ballarat, promote awareness of Council’s role in the city’s arts scene and support the planning of future arts community engagement.”
