Initial proposals for the remaining three precincts in the Ballarat West Growth Area will be presented to landowners and stakeholders tomorrow at the Ballarat Town Hall.

Attendees will be asked to comment on the plans for the Bonshaw Creek, Greenhalghs Road and Carngham Road precincts which have been updated following the initial consultation session in August.

The plans will be made available to the public via the City of Ballarat website following tomorrow’s consultation session. Residents will then be able to have their say on the plans at a public drop-in session on 20 October.

The Ballarat West Growth Area forms part of the City of Ballarat’s Ballarat West project which also includes the Ballarat West Employment Zone and the Ballarat Western Link Road.

Ballarat West will provide communities, homes, employment opportunities and improved transport linkages for the predicted growth of Ballarat by a third by the year 2030.
