The free community screening of the ‘Transformers – Dark of the Moon’ movie, which was postponed in October due to inclement weather, has been rescheduled to Friday 9 December at 7pm.
Hosted by Council’s Youth Services BYou, the movie will be shown on Friday 9 December at 7pm at the Doug Dean Recreation Reserve in Delacombe.
City of Ballarat Portfolio Councillor for People and Communities John Philips encouraged residents to pack a picnic and come along and enjoy the free twilight screening.
“The film screening aims to provide young people with an activity that connects them to their local community.
“Not only will the event help Council to engage with those in the Delacombe community, but it will also provide local organisations with the opportunity to showcase their service/club.”
The Victorian Railway Institute Cricket Club will be selling BBQ food and soft drink from their club rooms.
The event will be hosted by Council’s Youth Services team BYou, FReeZa along with the Delacombe Cricket Club, Delacombe Renewal project and Twilight Cinemas.
The event is an all ages, drug, smoke and alcohol free event.
