Children at Wendouree Children's Services Kindergarten will be moving and grooving when music program 'Jungle Jammin'' visits on 16 and 17 June.

Jungle Jammin' workshops are run by traditional cultural performers, giving children the opportunity to experience and participate in music and dance from across Africa.

Talented, dynamic performers dressed in bright, traditional costume will clap, sing, dance and drum with the children across the two 45 minute sessions.

Ballarat City Councillor John Philips said the Jungle Jammin' workshops aim to provide children with a fun educational experience.

"The sessions will be a great way to instil positive attitudes towards other cultures in the children - something that is becoming more and more important in today's society".

Wendouree Children's Services Kindergarten still has places available for 2012. Contact Heather Moore on 5320 8210 for more information.
