This weekend marks the fourth and final weekend of Summer Sundays.

Council’s FREE Summer Sundays event series will conclude on Sunday 29 January from dusk in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

This week will feature a twilight cinema screening of the cinematic classic Citizen Kane PG (1941).

Citizen Kane, a black and white American drama, was nominated for an Academy Award in nine categories and won the Academy Award for Best Writing (Original Screenplay).

Directed by and starring Orson Welles, the film examines the life and legacy of Charles Foster Kane, a character based upon the American newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst and Welles’ own life.

Popcorn and choc tops will be available for purchase on the night.
