Spectator Spots
Residents and visitors are encouraged to set up a deck chair, enjoy a bite to eat and a cold drink and experience the best that cycling has to offer.
The energy and atmosphere will be fantastic on Mt Buninyong along the PowerFM King of the Mountain stage. The King of the Mountain Courtesy Bus will operate during the Men’s Open Road Championship on Sunday 9 January. The bus will collect passengers from the service road adjacent to the CFA station on the Midland Hwy, drop passengers off at the start line of the King of the Mountain and return to the CFA Station after the competitors have passed.
Another great vantage point to see cyclists up close is the Feed Zone where riders receive refreshments from their team on selected laps. Race commentary, refreshments and toilets will be located in this area.
Parking
Minimal road closures will be in place during the Championships. There will be street signage directing spectators to car parking areas.
